Best Christmas present surprise: My parents announced a family vacation to a surprise tropical vacation! So excited! Maybe it will look a little something list this:

Set the World on Fire by Britt Nicole, such a good song. The lyrics are really inspiring. I have listened to this song so many times now that I find myself humming it during the day to myself sometimes, which I love, because I do want to set the world on fire and I know I can't do it by myself. I want to live with a passion for what I am doing and share that passion with others. Here are the lyrics to the song I am referring to:

That Little Blue Box

This winter I want to...

~ Take a cooking class

~ Bike around The Commons and then have a picnic on The Charles, all bundled up!

~ Go wine tasting... and then stroll around the city

~ Teach someone how to sail on The Charles

~ Spend a day using only Groupon/Living social deals around the city

~ Go on a brewery tour

~ Make a fort... inside or outside

~ Take a ski trip with friends for a weekend

~ Go sledding on the biggest hill in the city I can find

~ Roam around Beacon Hill visiting open houses or studios, drinking hot chocolate imagining what it would be like to live there

~ Make snow angles in The Commons Park

~ Rent a zip car and drive somewhere I have never been in the state

~ Take a weekend trip to the cape with friends and make a bonfire on the beach

~ Sing karaoke at a bar

~ Volunteer at a soup kitchen or at a food bank

~ See a play

~ Host a breakfast party, mimosas provided and pajamas required

~ Have a snow ball fight

~ Make a snow man (a carrot nose is a necessity)

~ Visit somewhere tropical to escape the cold for a short time

~ Go to a Bruins game (will be my first one ever!)

~ Be able to share all of these adventures with a special person or many fun people!

Breeze, Salt, Sea

Makes me think of summer time on the Cape sailing and relaxing on the beach.

I think I want to blow this up and frame it on my wall! Love it. 

 

Not exactly summer sailing in a bikini and bare feet, but I miss Spring sailing too!

OK so bathrooms are not exactly a place most people would think could be inspiring design wise, but I actually think that bathrooms can have a lot of style and design inspiration if done right.
