As any of my friends will tell you, I have quite the love affair with T.J.Maxx and Marshalls, some might even say it's an obsession. While I personally wouldn't go that far, I will say that I think I have mastered the art of finding incredible bargains, deals and steals on everything that buy at these two stores.
I have to definitely give some credit to my parents for instilling a real sense of 'the value of money,' in me at a young age that really taught me the different between want vs. need and how to look for value in things that I would buy. In middle school when I first discovered that I loved shopping, they had a long conversation with me and made a deal that I had to use my own money that I had made babysitting to buy any new clothes that I wanted when I went to the mall with friends. I quickly discovered the joy of bargain hunting through sales racks and finding incredibly deals! By far the best discover was when I was a freshman in high school and went to T.J.Maxx the first time. It was a pivotal moment in how I shopped (as hilarious as that may sound, it is very true). I remember walking into the store and finding a dress that I has seen a few weeks prior at a store that I loved in the mall. I checked the price tag and the price at T.J.Maxx was more than half the price less than it was at the store I saw the dress at in the mall! Since that first time, I have consistently found amazing deals on things that I have seen in stores at the mall or department stores, or even on online flash sale sites, with T.J.Maxx or Marshalls prices always beating out the others!
I am going to start posting either on Mondays or Tuesday (or maybe sometimes both!) a Marshalls Monday and T.J.Maxx Tuesday fabulous find!
