Fashionista does Food - My night at Moksa in Cambridge

I love a delicious meal almost as much as an amazing deal on designer shoes. Last week I was invited to a blogger dinner hosted by Blog & Tweet Boston as Moksa in Cambridge. Moksa is a Pan-Asian Tapas restaurant with a cool urban vibe with food flavors that will knock your socks off. It's a cozy atmosphere and conducive to a large or small crowd (they even have an indoor bocce ball court... SO COOL).

The evening  started off with cocktail hour where a warm rum punch with marinated peaches was served in the sweetest little mason jar. It was quite possibly one of the most delicious drinks I have ever had.

We then enjoyed a roasted butternut squash soup that was delicious and had a little twist with the addition of edamame.

The second course was even better than the first. We were served fabulous little spicy tuna dumplings with a guacamole and thai mango sauce. Such great flavors that you would never think would be so good together!

For the third course the options were a 7 Spice Crusted Salmon, Paneer Masala or a Kung Pao Angel Hair Pasta dish. I chose the pasta dish and it was served with crispy chicken, beans and bok choy. Like the three previous dishes, it was fantastic.

The dining experience ended with the serving of a warm milk and honey drink made with cognac, rooibos milk and Boston Honey. It was the perfect way to end a fabulous meal and paired perfectly with the warm coconut ride pudding dessert. I am not a huge rice pudding fan, but the drink was a perfect sweet treat to end the meal.

Overall, between the fabulous company of lovely Boston blogger women, the fantastic service, the delicious food and delectable drinks it was an amazing night. I so look forward to my next visit to Moksa after such a great experience!

Cheers!
