5. Rose gold watch for keeping time on your weekend adventure and being on time for departures!
6. A healthy snack to for when hunger hits.
7. A light scarf that can wrap as a blanket during travel and as an accessory over the weekend.
8. A durable phone case and a backup battery so you don't have to worry about charging if you are using travel apps!
9. A zippered pouch to store the travel beauty essentials: blush, lipstick, mascara and purell!
10. Comfortable travel flats.
11. And last but not least, a chic oversized tote bag that will carry everything you need!

Celeb Style Snag : Alessandra Ambrosio

The always classic Alessandra. I absolutely love this look and am such a fan of the neutral color palette. It's so easy and casual but still put together and chic. To recreate this look, all you need is a tan/cream cardigan, a cream or white scarf, a tan cross-body bag, some white skinny jeans, suede booties and a pair of great sunglasses and you are good to go! My Everyday Beauty Essentials

For everyday, my beauty routine (if you can even call it that) is pretty simple.
Most days I stick to tinted moisturizer, concealer, blush, brow pencil,
some eyeliner and mascara. If I get up with enough time I might
try some illumizer and bronzer to contour my face. I like a natural look;
I don't like to feel like I am wearing makeup. I have pretty sensitive skin
so I have to be careful about what products I use and recently
I have been trying to shift all of my products over to ones
that are both better for me and the environment using
natural or organic products mostly.

Splurge vs. Steal - Black & Gold Heels

My boyfreind's cousin set me on a mission earlier this week when she showed me these FABULOUS Chanel pumps. I wanted to find a great pair for her for less. Because these pumps are a current season Chanel design it was VERY hard to find similar styles as it usually takes other brands half a season or more to really start emulating the high end runway designs in their product lines. However, I did find these beautiful Ann Taylor pumps that are fairly similar and are less in price. What do you think? Obviously, you can't really compare Chanel to Ann Taylor, but for a fun holiday heel, I think the cheaper version is a win!

Drumroll Please... Pantone color of the year is: Radiant Orchid

I am blushing with excitment at this fabulous springy, bubbly tone that Pantone has named for it's color of the year. I have always been a fan of purple, but like my other favorite color (emerald) flattering shades of purple are often hard to find. I love this tone as it is the right amount of playful while still being sophisticated and chic. I also love that orchid (like the flower the color gets it's name from) comes in a lot of variations and hues. Fun fact, orchid also pairs fabulously well with emerald!
